Repentance and Salvation

To repent, turn away from our sins and embrace the gift of grace through Jesus Christ is the most important decision one can ever make.  It is, indeed, the apex of all tipping points in the life of any person.  By trusting in Jesus Christ as one’s Lord and Savior, you are now eternally bound to God.  In Jesus Christ, God no longer sees your sin.  Rather, God now sees you through the atoning work of His Son.  Your sin debt has been paid in full by the sacrificial work of Jesus and you are now divinely branded with the seal of the Holy Spirit.

You are no longer a slave to sin or your past.  You have been set free to serve God and stand secured within the eternal love of your Savior God.  This is what it means to know God and is the essence of true joy.

“For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age, looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify Himself His own special people, zealous for good works.”

Titus 2:11-14
